Books to the Rescue! relies solely on the donations from the community and the community at large.  Your tax-deductible donation will touch the lives of even more children in Brown County thanks to a 50% grant matching program from the Educational Development Corporation. This means, for example,  that a $1000 gift will be able to purchase $1500 in books! In addition, EDC will also pick up the tab on shipping charges.  To learn more about this generous grant matching program known as Literacy for a Lifetime, visit http://www.literacyforalifetime.com/

In order to provide the most quality books, for the most reasonable price, most books are purchased using the Literacy for a Lifetime Grant. However, other books from other sources are welcomed as well as long as they are new.
